Born in 1923 in Norwich, Michael DeBurgh enrolled in the army at just 18.
He was drafted into the 9th Lancer's as a tank gunner during World War Two.
Michael spent much of his war time in Italy and Africa.
His father, Lieutenant DeBurgh fought in both World War One and World War Two and recieved an OBE for his services.
