Who were the 9th Lancers?

93-year-old Michael De Burgh was a tank gunner during World War Two for the 9th Lancers.

His father, Hugo fought in both World War One and Two where he received an OBE for his contribution.

This project shows their stories from the perspective of Michael(left) who now resides in West Sussex.
